We bring our own spot-free water tank system. Water in Florida is notorious for being “hard.” This means that the water naturally has an abundance of calcium and magnesium carbonates. Because of this, detailing in the Florida sun can be harmful to your vehicle if using hard water since the heat dries your vehicle much faster. Hard water will leave water spots on your vehicle which, over time, will etch further into your vehicle’s clear coat & paint causing long term damage, hard to repair damage. By bringing our own spot-free water system, we eliminate the possibility of leaving water spots and damaging your vehicle. We don’t put your vehicle through an “automatic” car wash like some places do as this is bad practice and can damage your vehicles finish. We don’t ever “rush” like some car wash/ “detailing” locations. Large car wash locations have 1 goal. To get you in and out as fast as possible, with the consequence of lackluster work.

Tools To Perform The Job Right

Each detail unit includes clean microfiber towels, mitts, brushes, pads, and other tools. We use many microfiber towels and brushes, each with its own color designation in order to prevent cross-contamination when detailing your vehicle and we always replacing them when needed. We have all-purpose microfiber towels for general and interior uses, thick microfiber towels for sealant, wax & ceramic coating residue removal, waffle-weave microfiber towels for drying, microfiber towels for windows, microfiber applicator pads for applying waxes, sealants & ceramic coatings, microfiber wash mitts for washing vehicles, microfiber brushes for wheels and exterior uses, and more. We use specific brushes for specific things; interior-only horse hair brushes for specific interior needs and exterior-only horse hair brushes for your specific exterior needs. Brushes each dedicated to cleaning specific parts of your vehicle including the leather, upholstery, carpets, interior trim, tires, lug nuts, wheels, and more. For the wheels, Apex has applicator blocks specifically for applying silicone-free tire shine; a high suction vacuum with multiple attachments for versatile cleaning, especially hard to reach areas that are often forgotten. All of our tools are properly cleaned and maintained.

Foam Bath

Included in all of our exterior details. Our foam baths are done using spot-free water and by hand using microfiber mitts along with the proper 2-bucket grit guard method with multiple microfiber mitts to prevent scratches and swirl marks on your vehicle. During the foam bath process we apply a layer of foam to your entire vehicle. The foam process helps loosen and break down dirt and contaminants in a safe way and creates a medium to minimize friction between the vehicle’s surface and the microfiber mitt for safe washing. The vehicle is rinsed using our spot-free water filtration system. Tires are properly cleaned, using a pH-neutral tire specific cleaner and dedicated tire brushes to remove dirt/grime layers as well as any old tire shine. The wheels are properly cleaned using a wheels specific, non-acidic cleaner and our dedicated wheel brush. These specialized tool are the optimal way to remove brake dust and dirt on the face of the rim, lug nuts, between spokes, barrels, and brake calipers to bring back the show room finish.

Proper Drying Procedure

The entire vehicle is dried using thick and plush waffle-weave or plush microfiber towels to ensure that your vehicles finish is not damaged. This includes all door/trunk/hood/gas door jambs. We apply a protective layer of your choosing to the entire vehicle and buff off all residue for a smooth and clean finish. Windows are cleaned to ensure a streak free finish bringing the detailed look all together. Lastly, we use a filtered air blower to ensure that all cracks and crevices are dried so that water doesn’t ruin the finish when the detailing is complete and driving begins.

Paint Decontamination

Our paint decontamination process will ensure that iron contamination is removed. This process isn’t very common and will ensure a cleaner vehicle by removing what regular washing does not. Iron contamination is caused caused by industrial iron fallout, rail dust, brake dust, etc and is often overlooked in the detailing world. The vehicle is covered with our iron decontamination spray which is then lathered onto your vehicle during the wash process; A final pressure rinse is done to ensure the removal of product residue and the removal of paint contaminants. This leaves your paint much cleaner and smoother, and allows any protective sealant, wax or ceramic coat to bond to the paint better. This process is can be combined with our clay bar treatment to ensure removal of all contaminants on your vehicle.

Clay Bar/Chemical Decontamination Service

This service is highly recommended for all vehicles that have paint that is considered “rough” and not smooth to the touch. It goes further in removing contaminants from a vehicle’s paint by physically, and safely, grabbing them from the paint. It will leave your vehicle’s paint looking better than new and smooth to the touch. This preps the vehicle for sealant, wax or ceramic coating treatment by removing any and all contaminants from the paint such as industrial fallout, iron deposits, and any other major surface embedded contaminants not removed by our wash process and chemical decontamination spray. This process is combined with our iron decontamination spray ensures removal of all contaminants on your vehicle.

Paint Correction Service

This service is highly recommended for customers who want to go the extra mile and remove swirl marks, accidental paint overpray and clear coat marring. It is a long process that 1st starts with our clay bar/paint decontamination service. After the paint is smooth to the touch, we start to polish the car using machine buffers to remove those pesky clear coat swirl/marring marks. After we ensure that the paints surface is clear of swirl marks and clear coat marring. After, we apply a sealant or ceramic coating. If you purchase a ceramic coating service, we install a System X or IGL Kenzo Professional grade ceramic coating that offers the highest form of protection for your vehicle that with proper maintenance, can last for years to come. Note that ceramic coatings take up to 24 hours to fully cure so we recommend coming to one of our locations to get this service done.

Sealants/Waxes/Ceramic Coatings

We offer a selection of protective coatings that will last from 2-3 months, and ceramic coatings that last up to 10 years, and bring out the best shine in your ride (See the Coatings FAQs page for further details regarding our different coating selections. All applied by hand or machine. Our wax, sealant & ceramic coating selection offers increased shine, protection, and water and dirt repelling properties. All sealant and wax applications are done properly, whether it be by hand or machine. We ensure the paint is properly cleaned, dried, and ready for protection before applying it.  

Interior Treatment

Our interior services include vacuuming of the vehicle, cleaning and protecting trim panels and interior surfaces, streak free windows, screens, and mirrors. All trim panels and surfaces are cleaned and protected using clean microfiber towels and a product selection that is safe for your vehicle. This sanitizes the area and adds a layer of UV protection, dust repelling properties, and a matte finish that is dry to the touch. We use a product selection dedicated to the different types of surfaces in your vehicle. All windows, mirrors, and screens are cleaned for a streak-free finish; the product we use is safe to use on tinted windows. More extensive cleanings such as steam cleaning, carpet and upholstery shampoo, leather shampoo, stain removal, and odor removal are also available.

About Our Detailing Time

We give estimates on how long each detail will take. This dependent upon the condition of your vehicle. We typically take longer than most. Some details may only take 2 hours, while some may take 6 hours or more to complete. This is because the level of attention to detail we provide is our top goal. What most people consider a “full detail” or “the works” we consider to be our standard practice. It’s not about the quantity of vehicles we detail, it’s about the quality of each and every one and we take pride in each and every one.
